(2019年7月1日晚，逾百名示威者成功佔領香港立法會數小時，示威者響應網民撰寫《七一宣言》（或名《香港人抗爭宣言》），希望向社會表達衝擊目的及背後訴求，及後宣言被翻譯成英語、法語、日語等語言。另外，網上同時流傳《金鐘宣言》及《香港己亥宣言》等文宣，當中《香港己亥宣言》亦被翻譯成中、英、日、韓、法等國語言。註:文字稿比起真正宣讀嘅版本較為簡潔，方便流傳閱讀)
各位香港市民，
我們是一群來自民間的示威者。萬不得已，我們並不想走上以身對抗暴政的路，以佔領香港特區政府立法會作為我們談判的籌碼；但滿口謊言、滿口歪理的政府卻無意回應香港人不斷走上街的訴求。我們只好以公義、良知、以及對香港、對香港人無窮無盡的愛，去抗衡橫蠻的政府。
香港特區政府成立至今22年，政經民生每況愈下。現任特首林鄭月娥上台後，情況變本加厲，更漠視民間逾百萬民意，推出「送中惡法」。市民於6月起前仆後繼，各盡其力，或和平、或理性、或奮勇、或受傷流血，以一顆熱愛香港之心，懇求政府撤回修例，而政府置若罔聞，不諳民情，竟置香港大眾於不顧，甚至以民為敵。
現任特區政府已非以港人行先，為使政府聆聽港人聲音，我等市民不得不進行各種佔領，不合作運動、乃至今日佔領立法會行動。社會或對我等佔領者有所批評，但追本溯源，社會撕裂之誘因為何？民怨每日俱增之本源為何？香港何辜？香港人何以被追逼至此？我等港人沒有武裝，沒有暴力，只能以秉持正義於心，無畏無懼，奮勇向正。希望能香港政府能及時回首，重回正軌：
我們佔領者，要求政府完成五大訴求：
一、徹底撤回修例
二、收回暴動定義
三、撤銷對今為所有反送中抗爭者控罪
四、徹底追究警隊濫權情況
五、以行政命令解散立法會，立即實行雙真普選
「反送中運動」發展至今，在三位年輕市民殉道。我等未忘憂憤，然心存善念，不願香港再有為民主、為自由、為公義再添亡魂。希望社會大眾團結一致，對抗惡法，對抗暴政，共同守護香港。
Dear Fellow Hong Kong Citizens,

We are ordinary citizens who become protesters with nothing but great passion to protect Hong Kong like you. Armed with only our bare hands and beating hearts, we waited through June 9 and 12 and not until today did we reclaim and occupy the LegCo building. We are not violent youths; only the regime was brutalizing us. None of us is a mobster with vicious thoughts. We act only out of our unspoiled conscience. We tolerate no conspiracy theories or thoughts to hijack the movement and accept no one but Hongkongers who fight for justice in Hong Kong. Like all of you, we have nothing but boundless love for the city.

Hong Kong ended its colonial British rule in 1997 and became a special administrative region under the People’s Republic of China. These 22 years have only been a race to the bottom for Hong Kong in terms of its politics, economy and general well-being. Pain and suffering now become the daily reality for Hong Kong people. Since Carrie Lam’s days as the Chief Executive, there are only more ruthless and arbitrary governance, more neglect of the interest of the city and its people. The government squandered its budget on its inefficient development project in Lantau Island, and with the extradition law revision, it has shown it is ready to send the city’s cherished tradition of the rule of law to ruin. Millions of people were forced to go out onto the streets in protest only to be ignored. Three deaths did nothing to soften the government, bent as it were on standing against the people it should serve.

The SAR government is a puppet of Beijing. It does not represent Hong Kong people’s wishes and thoughts. The LegCo functions as a tool under the government’s will and fails to perform properly its check and balance. Pouring out into the streets, we have no other choices but force our way into the LegCo building in order to make the government respond to Hong Kong people’s plea for justice and set our government back on the right track.

We are not here to make our names known. We’re ready to give up on our personal safety. We have only our five major pleas for the government:
1.To retract the revision bill completely;
2.To revoke the designation of riot for the June 12 events
3.To lift all charges against the protesters for the anti-extradition law revision
4.To bring to justice the police for their unlawful use of violence and abuse of power
5.To liquidate the current Legislative Council with an executive order and implement genuine universal suffrage for the election of both the Chief Executive and the Legislative Council with immediate effect

The anti-extradition law revision movement has come a long way. We are willing to pay the price with our fragile bodies in exchange for every one of you in society to stand in solidary for freedom and justice, to stand against the immoral law and the brutal regime. We stand together to save Hong Kong.

文字版：（有些人）不懼生命危險衝進來立法會，我們才可以進來當我們撤離了如果，我們就會明天變成TVB口中的暴徒。他們會拍下立法會裡面的頹垣敗瓦，一片凌亂，指責我們是暴徒。所以現在我們整個運動是不能割席。我們要贏，就一起繼續贏下去。要輸。我們就要輸十年。我們整個公民社會，我們整個公民社會是會有十年永不翻身。我們的學生會被捕，我們的領袖會被捕。所以這次我們要贏就一定要一起贏。如果你能夠佔領的話，你考慮清楚能夠佔領的話，和我們一起佔領這裡。我們這裡越多人，我們這裡越多人，我們就越安全。警察沒辦法在這裡放催淚彈，我們會死的。他沒辦法在這裡用警棍驅散我們一千個人，對嗎？呼籲外面的朋友，如果能夠佔領的，進來這裡與我們佔領。因為我們沒辦法回頭，我們做到這一步。我們不能夠再玩快閃了。這一刻，我們不是玩快閃。因為佔領立法會是一生只有一次的機會。我們無法再回頭，所以如果你有能力的話就佔領這裡；沒能力的話你可以用和理非的方式包圍立法會，用你的身體保護我們，好嗎？我們真的不能再輸。如果我們今晚回去開冷氣睡覺，明天一早，香港什麼都沒發生過，一個月的犧牲完全付諸東流。我們難道想要那三條人命、我們付出很多天的血汗白白浪費？我們真的不能再輸。如果我呼籲外面的同學不要再野餐，不要再快閃，進來和我們一起佔領。太陽花學運當年學生佔領之後，大人、和理非領袖、立法會議員是在出口保護我（他）們的啊。所以我們學生，我們首先不要去想別的事情。我們一定要足夠的手足、足夠的朋友有這份勇氣一起進入這個會議廳。我們越多人，這裡就越安全。我取下口罩是想讓大家知道，其實我們香港人真是沒有東西可以再輸了。我們香港人真是不可以再輸了。當我們再輸，是十年。你們想想看，十年。我們的公民社會就會一沉百踩，讓政府……
text read: (Some people) broke into the Legislative Council (LegCo) building in spite of the risk to their lives, pathed the way for us to come inside. If we retreat, we will become the “rioters” tomorrow as TVB would coin us. They will be filming the destruction and mess in the LegCo building, condemning us as rioters. Thus, now we cannot be separated in this movement anymore. If we are to win, we win it together. If lost, we will be losing 10 years. Our entire civil society, our entire civil society, would not recover from this the next 10 years. Our students would be arrested. Our leaders would be arrested. So this time if we are to win, we must win together. If you could stay in the Occupy, if you have considered carefully that you can stay in the Occupy, join us to occupy here. The more people we have here, the more people we have here, the safer we will be. The police cannot fire tear gas here, we will die from it. They cannot disperse 1,000 of us from here using batons. Right? Let’s urge people outside who can join the Occupy to come in and join us. Because there is no return for us anymore, since we took this step. It cannot be a flash mob anymore. This moment, we are not doing a flash mob. Because it is a once in a lifetime chance to occupy the Legislative Council. We are beyond the point of return. So if you have the ability, stay and occupy here. If not, you can surround the LegCo in a peaceful manner, using your body to protect us, okay? We cannot lose anymore. If we go back and sleep in an air-coned room tonight, tomorrow morning, nothing would have happened in Hong Kong. Sacrifices made the past month would be in vain. Do we want the three lost lives, the blood and sweat we shed for many days to be wasted for nothing? We cannot lose anymore. I urge students outside not to have picnics anymore, do not do flash mobs anymore. Come in and join us in the occupy. In the Sunflower Student Movement, after students occupied, adults, leaders advocating for peace, Legislative Council members, were at the entrance to protect us (them). Therefore, we, as students, first, do not be distracted. We need to have enough brothers and sisters, enough friends with the courage to come into this chamber together. The more people we have, the safer it is here. The reason why I remove my mask, is to let everyone know that we Hongkongers, have nothing more to lose. Hongkongers cannot lose anymore. If we lose again, it’s 10 years. Think about it, 10 years. Our civil society would sink to the bottom, the government then……
